Breakthrough Breast Cancer Event
Demeanour teamed up with GHD to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
GHD brought out a limited edition styler called Pretty in Pink which came with accessories that we stocked and for every sale £10 went to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
To help support this campaign Demeanour also held a Breakthrough Breast Cancer event.
The idea behind the event was to teach our clients new ways of styling their hair with the GHD stylers. All of our stylists were on hand to demonstrate curling techniques and simple hair up styles. Derota our BBC make up artist had 121 sessions showing clients the best way to apply there make up and suitable colours for their skin tone and hair colour.
To help raise money for breakthrough breast cancer we also had a cake sale where we asked passersby to donate money for either a Pink cake or breast cancer badge... Both went down an absolute storm!
We had the help of Duncan James a real life statue who braved the cold and was painted head to toe in pink and silver, wearing a pink feather boa, to reel in donations from people and also help sell raffle tickets. He definitely had heads turning! Raffle tickets were on sale for a £1 a ticket and we had so many fantastic prizes to give away like GHD thermal protectors, GHD heat proof bags and many more!
We transformed the salon into a pink haven with balloons everywhere! And had Yasmin Abu-Ela who also contributed to the raffle, showcase clothes and accessories from her latest collection at Saphari.
The evening turned out to be really successful and we managed to raise £355 for GHD and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
And we would like to thank everyone who played a part and all of the people who donated money!
